The Celebration
Irina and Dhruv's story began halfway across the world from where it would eventually be celebrated. They first crossed paths in New York, introduced by a mutual friend, at what should have been the worst possible moment — Dhruv was soon to return to Hong Kong.
The spark was immediate and impossible to ignore. What might have been a passing introduction instead became a relationship that closed the distance between two cities, and in time, between two cultures. By the time they reached their wedding, the brief was already written into their history: a celebration that belonged to more than one world.
DreamzKrraft planned and designed the multicultural wedding at the Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, where the grandeur of a former royal residence gave their cross-continental story a setting equal to its scale.
The result honoured both of their backgrounds without diluting either — a wedding that made sense only for this couple, in this place, with this particular history behind it. Photography was by Cupcake Productions.
