Raffles Udaipur
A lakeside arrival, a Ganesha of golden bells, and a reception at the Taj Mahal Palace — a wedding measured by how it made people feel.
Rutuja and Jinesh's wedding was a stunning celebration of love and tradition, set amidst the timeless grandeur of Raffles Udaipur. With an intimate guest list and regal ambiance, every moment reflected their vision — brought to life with thoughtful details, soulful rituals, and curated luxury.
Guests arrived in style via a serene boat ride to the Raffles jetty. The soft melodies of the tabla and santoor created a warm welcome by the lakeshore, soon met with high-spirited dhol beats. A Polaroid wall in the lobby featured each guest's photo, while a DIY hamper wall with Jaivakeel NGO bags allowed guests to pack their own goodies. The celebrations began with a joyful cake-cutting, followed by a relaxing high tea with foot massages, kadak chai, and delicious treats — setting the tone for heartfelt mingling.

The welcome dinner was hosted at Parterre, blending elegance with entertainment. Emcee Junaid opened the evening with a lively, personalized couple quiz on the custom wedding app. A playful Bride vs Groom face-off followed, with live voting and real-time results. Family speeches and emotional toasts added intimacy, while Bombay Choir set the musical tone with live performances. DJ Prasad kept the celebrations alive with a dance-worthy set, and a stylish photo booth with instant prints captured the joy of the night.

The groom's Mandap Mahurat took place at Raffles Mandir, while the bride's was held at Cerulean Court at Harvest. Both spaces were styled with vibrant marigolds, sunflowers, and swing seating, adding charm to the rituals.

The groom's high-energy baraat marked a grand start. The bride's varmala entry with her bridesmaids was set to a live performance by Dharini Thakkar, with a magical flower shower and color shots. A standout feature was a bespoke Ganesha installation made of bells, suspended at varying heights. The bride's Bollywood-inspired wedding entry kept spirits high. Post-ceremony, a spectacular three-sided fireworks display lit up the garden, followed by joyful group photos.

The after-party was held in the Raffles ballroom, where guests enjoyed a lavish dinner. The couple's cake-cutting was met with cheers, and DJ Prasad kept the celebration going late into the night with an unforgettable set.

The festivities concluded with a grand reception at the iconic Taj Mahal Palace. Heartfelt speeches, a celebratory cake-cutting, and soulful performances by Sandeep & Band and DJ Ganesh wrapped up Rutuja and Jinesh's journey with elegance and joy.
