A fairy-tale wedding at Umaid Bhawan Palace — a Vintage Chic welcome dinner, a sunlit Mehendi, and a wedding night lit gold beneath the palace domes.
A gorgeous wedding executed at the magnificent Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. With a classy Welcome dinner, a two-toned Mehendi ceremony, a glamorous Sangeet, and a traditional wedding ceremony, this wedding was one straight out of a fairy tale. From flawless planning, engaging artists and entertainment to impeccable décor, the wedding had it all. The functions were held on the grounds with the palace as the backdrop, with every design decision made to complement the palace while adding to its elegance.
The extravagant affair began with a Vintage Chic themed Welcome dinner held at the ITC, Jodhpur grounds. With rustic florals and cozy seating, the vibe was casual-chic, tied together with the use of wooden elements and varied props.

A colour palette of soothing blues and vibrant yellow hues was chosen for the delightful daytime Mehendi ceremony. The expansive Umaid Bhawan grounds were decked with elaborate yellow tents in upscale lounge style, while the trees were adorned with ombre tassel hangings. A pretty swing was created for the bridal seating area, alongside a stylish long table for family seating with Jaipuri centerpieces in blue and yellow, and lounges styled with printed panels and matching coffee tables.

For the glamorous Sangeet, the palace was set aglow with gleaming lights, its facade serving as the perfect scenic backdrop. Embellished gold-fabric screens lit the walkway to the function, and lush floral arrangements in laser-cut furniture lined the pathway beneath a canopy of thousands of twinkling fairy lights. The sit-down dinner area featured mirrored tables with green-and-white floral centerpieces — gold candle stands, lush greens and baby's breath arrangements amid dainty pillar candles.

The wedding itself was planned with a traditional, royal feel — the mandap enhanced with floral décor, candles and lighting, with royal red and ivory as the prominent colours. Red roses and tuberose garlands formed the essence of the décor; the steps to the mandap were lined with luminescent candles and red floral arrangements, while the ceiling was graced with descending tuberose laddis, antique bells, hanging metal lotuses and diyas. A Ganga Aarti performed by pandits added a mesmerizing feel to the ceremony. For the post-wedding dinner, seating was arranged to emulate the rays of the sun, radiating from a giant urn of red florals at the centre.
